Traditional ways of learning to understand sheet music were unsuccessful due to the complicated learning aids that were used. People around the world are now finding how to read piano music online to learn an instrument correctly and replicate their favorite songs.

When playing any modern musical instrument, many music teachers teach ineffectively and people lose interest quickly. Learning simple notes is important to playing, but it does not teach someone how to play an actual song. If you learn the notation correctly in the written sheet, you can learn any song very quickly.

Sheet music is created from the written notes of a composer and entered onto a musical staff. The staff includes five lines with four spaces. These notes are easy to memorize and never change the way they are written musically. These notes include whole notes, half notes, quarter notes, eighth and sixteenth notes that exist in each position when written for the notated staff.

Along with the placements of each note on the staff each note can have different tones on the piano. Notes can be sharp, flat, diminished, augmented, seventh, major seventh, and minor notes. These variations depend on which note exists in the musical scale of the key of the song that is played.

Learning how to interpret sheet compositions correctly is easy with a few simple tricks. The notes that are positioned on the musical staff of the treble clef can be grouped together with acronyms to make note memorization easier. The five lines have the following notes going up the musical scale. They are E, G, B, D, and F. Any easy phrase for learning these notes is "Every Good Boy Does Fine".

The in between notes of the musical staff are written as F, A, C, E. This easily spells the word FACE and can easily be remembered to learn the notes. The actual key of the sheet notation will determine if each note is sharp or flat inside the treble clef scale. A simple marking next to each note explains its origin. More advanced written notation includes a bass clef to interpret the left-handed notes that are played on the piano in the lower octave area of the instrument.

The treble clef is easiest to learn when finding out how to read piano music online. The notes never change the name or type. The tempo or keys are the only changes that are made in modern sheet musical notation.
